Service

SkillsBase provides discovery, curation, publishing, claiming, discussion, favorites, follows, rankings, activity feeds, digest previews and emails, keyword monitoring, bulk export, read-only API access, and administrative review for Agent Skills. The service may change, pause, or end as the product evolves.

Accounts

• Registration requires a valid email address and invite code. Publishing, commenting, claiming, or using some account features may require email verification.
• You must provide accurate account information and protect your password, sessions, API keys, and redeem codes.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you notice unauthorized access.
• You may not transfer, sell, share, or abuse accounts, or bypass email verification, rate limits, invite codes, subscription tiers, API keys, or permission controls.
• If a paid plan expires, is revoked, or no longer qualifies for its tier, the related Pro or Ultra features may stop working.

User Content

You keep your rights in the content you submit. To operate SkillsBase, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, cache, copy, format, index, review, and distribute the skills, comments, cover images, install notes, risk notes, claim information, and related metadata you submit.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. If you claim a GitHub repository or submit source-verification information, you must ensure the verification material is accurate, under your control, and not misleading.

Public content may be indexed, crawled, quoted, or referenced by users, search engines, or third-party services. Do not submit passwords, tokens, private repository content, sensitive personal information, malicious install commands, or materials you are not allowed to make public.

Acceptable Use

• Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, malicious, spammy, or misleading content.
• Do not attempt to break in, scan, overload, scrape protected areas, bypass access controls, abuse webhooks, abuse API keys, or interfere with service operation.
• Do not impersonate others, falsify origins, falsely claim repositories, manipulate rankings, manipulate favorites or comments, bulk-register accounts, or automate high-risk requests.
• Do not submit content designed to steal credentials, execute malicious code, trick users into disclosing keys, damage supply-chain security, or misrepresent install risk.
• Do not upload images, code, documents, or other materials that you do not have permission to use.

Third-Party Links and Data

SkillsBase displays GitHub repositories, external documentation, avatars, open-source licenses, public statistics, and safe install prompts. Third-party sites, repositories, install scripts, and skill content are controlled by their maintainers or service providers. A safe prompt asks an AI agent to inspect risks first but is not a security guarantee; you remain responsible for evaluating risk and following applicable third-party terms.

We use infrastructure such as Cloudflare, the GitHub API, and email delivery services to run the service.

Plans and Redeem Codes

SkillsBase offers tiers such as Free, Pro, and Ultra. Specific entitlements are shown on the account page and product copy. A tier may be activated through a redeem code, admin grant, or another controlled backend process.

Self-serve payment, auto-renewal, and subscription portals are not currently supported. If payment support returns later, we will describe it in the terms and product interface.

Redeem codes may have expiration dates, usage caps, tiers, and duration limits. Expired, disabled, exhausted, abused, or ineligible codes will not work. We may refuse or revoke entitlements obtained through mistake, fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms.

API and Export

The read-only API, API keys, and bulk export are subscription features. API keys are for your account only. You must store them securely and revoke them promptly if exposed.

You may not use the API or export features to bulk-harvest protected data, resell the service, bypass page limits, extract personal information, avoid rate limits, interfere with the service, or build a service that is confusingly similar to SkillsBase. We may change API fields, export formats, rate limits, and access permissions.

Moderation and Termination

We may refuse, hide, edit, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary, including for security risks, abuse, infringement complaints, legal requirements, or violations of these terms.

Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

SkillsBase is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the directory, rankings, repository data, safe install prompts, comments, or third-party content will always be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillsBase is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some limits may not fully apply to you.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of SkillsBase means you accept the updated terms. Material updates will change the date on this page and, when appropriate, include additional notice.
